My Two Cents – Popup Exhibition

January 10 @ 6:00 pm - January 11 @ 3:00 pm

Core Contemporary and Nevada for Warren are pleased to present an invitational pop-up art show called “My Two Cents,” scheduled to open Friday, January 10, 2020, and run through Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Core Contemporary. The exhibition will explore free speech and how artists express their cultural, societal or political observations through their art. The opening reception for the show takes place at the gallery on January 10th, from 6-8pm.

“The exhibit seeks to engage viewers with deeper dialogue prompted by emotional or intellectual responses to visual art,” said Nancy Good, owner of Core Contemporary. “I am excited that a presidential candidate feels it important to hear a unique mix of voices.”

The show is co-curated by Nancy Good, artists Justin Favela and Izaac Zevalking, and Michael Litt, Las Vegas political director with Nevada for Warren.

The nearly 25 participating artists are well-known in their communities for strong artistic voices and how they represent their views of the world at large through their art. The artists include: Omayra Amador, Leo Bracamontes, Diane Bush, Zoe Camper, Sapira Cheuk, Fawn Douglas, Denise Duarte, Nancy Good, Jennifer Henry, Holly Lay, Nova May, Karen Miller, Krystal Ramirez, Sierra Slentz, Lance Smith, Joel Spencer, Mikayla Whitmore, Annie Wildbear, Recycled Propaganda, Mr MK Ultra, Plastic Jesus, Lusky, and Bad Art.
